| This was caught at our first investigation of the Del Mar Fairgrounds/Grandstand investigation in the Pub on the ground level. We can not figure out what the cause of this shadow could have been. | ||||

SCP was able to establish communication with a spirit on board the Star of India via our Geophone. A Geophone is a device we use that measures vibrations. It displays the vibrations on a scale system using a series of lights. The stronger the vibration, the more lights light up. We had asked set the geophone on a stool in the Captains Saloon on board the ship. You can clearly see that when David bangs on the table the vibrations do not show on the geophone...however, when the spirit knocks on the stool the geophone picks them right up. This was a response immediately after the question. One of our more impressive bits of documented evidence we've captured on board The Star of India. | |||

| This clip shows various entries to our evidence bag. All caught on the Star of India, San Diego. The LOUD BANGS you hear were obvious attempts to get our attention. These BANGS are topped off with a full shadow person. Various members of SCP caught these clips with our cameras during an investigation in San Diego, on board the Star of India. This footage was captured and is owned by SCP, however the investigation took place while all members were a part of another group in San Diego. | ||||

David Walters caught this orb with his camera during an investigation in Big Bear. This footage was captured and is owned by David Walters and SCP. This clip displays a spherical shape whose flight pattern is unique, and is emitting it's own light source which can be clearly seen as it is casts light onto the carpet. | |||

This clip demonstrates how a video camera with a microphone can also capture EVP. The team was downstairs, during this time and you can clearly hear phantom footsteps approach the camera followed by a loud sigh. All team members were accounted for downstairs at the time of this spectacular capture. | |||

David Walters caught this anomoly with his camera during an investigation in Tehachapi. This footage was captured and is owned by David Walters and SCP. In this footage, you can clearly see that the hallway is empty, yet an anomoly begins to unfold inside the picture frame hanging on the wall to the left. All members inside this home were located in another section of the home. Nobody was near this hallway. You can also see some strange flashes towards the end of the clip. | |||

David Walters caught this EVP with his camera during an investigation in Oceanside. This footage was captured and is owned by David Walters and SCP. This clip demonstrates how an everyday rat can be confused as a ghost in a restaurant. This restaurant claimed to have a ghost roaming around it's bar lounge. Wine glasses would crash to the ground along with bottles of booze. This rat was the only thing knocking over glasses and bottles. The restaurant has since called the "Ratbusters". | |||

David Walters caught this anomoly with his camera during an investigation in San Diego. This footage was captured and is owned by David Walters and SCP. This footage shows what appears to be a very bright light source zoom from the bottom right of the screen, to the upper left of the screen in the far distance. This is approximately 50 feet from the camera, and you can see that it is behind some of the display cases in the background. My first thought was "bug", but that would be a VERY LARGE bug to be so bright from so far back, and the speed at which it is traveling make it nearly impossible to be a bug. Bugs tend to fly in a random flight pattern, with sharp turns. this object moves straight and fast...and it is so far from the camera. We can not explain this clip. | |||

South Coast Paranormal's investigators are trying outh the Dowsing Rods along with the Ghost Box. You can hear someone asking for the spirits to "cross" the rods...shortly followed by a voice on the ghost box saying "What Rods?". | |||

South Coast Paranormal recently had a case where the client was concerned about a possibility of a spirit child in their home that was affecting their family, more specifically...their son. When children are involved with cases, we are quick to respond. We did a series of investigations, and are lucky enough to post this EVP we captured in an empty home. This EVP is one of several Class A EVPs that we captured in the home. The team was on break outside, and the clients went out to dinner and a movie, leaving us a vacant home to work with. The recorder that captured the EVP was in the living room, but sounds like the EVP is from down the hallway near the childs room. We cannot go into specifics due to our commitment to privacy. We are very proud to announce that we have performed a house blessing, and the client has not experienced any paranormal activity since the blessing! We, SCP, do believe this particular entity was not a child, but that of a "mimic" inhuman entity (based on the numerous other documented findings which we can not post due to privacy matters). This case lasted several months before we had no choice but to "cleanse" the home. | |||

One of our newest approaches we've been tinkering with is a little gadget called the "Ghost Box". Now, our first thought of the "Ghost Box" wasn't with a very warm welcome. We doubted it, and everything about it actually. We thought of it as a joke, and we are still not 100% sold on it's validity, however....we try to communicate with the dead! How "odd" is that? When trying the "Ghost Box", we found that our Ghost Box sessions proved to be rather more than coincidental if not down right intriguing! We doubted it, and everything about it actually. We thought of it as a joke, and we are still not 100% sold on it's validity, however....we try to communicate with the dead! How "odd" is that? When trying the "Ghost Box", we found that our Ghost Box sessions proved to be rather more than coincidental if not down right intriguing! The client and Ellie were talking to the spirits to help calm them down. Telling them that there were people trying to help them when the fire cornered them in their home. They ran and hid in the closet, where their bodies were found. You can hear Ellie say "Where you scared of the fire?" followed by the EVP that says "GO HIDE!", then the client says "Are you guys hiding in the closet right now?" Click the symbol to listen. |
